Circulation Policies |
The John W. North High School Library has developed the following circulation policies in order to ensure fair access to resources and information for all its patrons. |

Loan Period : |

- General Collection Books - 3 weeks
- Magazines - Overnight
- Reference Textbooks - Overnight or 4 weeks
|

Renewals: |
|
| General collection books and 4-week loan reference textbooks may be renewed twice. Magazine and overnight reference textbooks may be renewed once. |
Overdue Materials: |
|
| Patrons will be charged $.10 per day for overdue books from the general collection after a five-day grace period and for 4-week loan reference textbooks (no grace period). The charge for overdue overnight reference textbooks is $.25 per day (no grace period). |
Lost or Damaged Materials: |
|
| Patrons will be charged the replacement price for any book that is lost or damaged beyond repair and for any damage to materials while loaned to them. |
Fines: |
|
| Fines Students with excessive library fines may have their computer and circulation privileges restricted. Please pay all library fines in the library. |
