Having a textbook is essential to success in the classroom. All students must have textbooks to use in their classes and at home. Students will check out their textbooks from the John W. North High School Library.
- All textbooks checked out become the responsibility of the student.
- Students will be charged the replacement price for any textbook that is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair and for any damage to materials while loaned to them. Damage fines are as follows:
|
Damaged/broken binding and/or missing pages: $15.00
Writing in textbook: varies with amount of damage
Missing barcode: $5.00 |
*Any student who returns a textbook without a barcode and without any other means of identifying the book will be charged the full price for the textbook. |
Students who have fines or previously damaged or lost textbooks will not be able to check out additional textbooks until effort is made to pay the fines.
**
Pay all textbook fines to the bookkeeper. |
